MipFly OneX – The Next Generation of the MipFly One
Sharper. Lighter. Longer. The MipFly OneX is a complete flight computer for paragliding and hang gliding pilots who want everything in one instrument: a sunlight-readable display, precise vario and GPS, full airspace and map navigation, and IGC logging. It carries forward everything that made the MipFly One a trusted companion, in a redesigned body that is over 30% lighter — and it runs the same proven VarioQt software.
Key Features
- High-Resolution Reflective Display A 4.2" reflective LCD at 300 × 400 shows noticeably sharper maps and more readable data fields than the MipFly One, with excellent sunlight readability and no backlight draining the battery.
- Lighter, Refined Design At just 171 grams the OneX is more than 30% lighter than the MipFly One, in a redesigned body that gives up none of the ruggedness or the glove-friendly physical buttons pilots rely on.
- Efficient Processing A dual-core Allwinner T113-S3 Cortex-A7 running at 1.2 GHz, paired with an ESP32-S2 coprocessor for real-time sensor data, delivers smoother map rendering and a snappier interface while drawing less power.
- Portrait or Landscape Fly the OneX upright or on its side. Every key carries two sets of markings, turned 90° from each other, so the symbols stay meaningful whichever way round it is mounted — changing orientation is simply a matter of selecting a UI layout built for it.
- Precise Vario and Altimeters A high-precision Bosch pressure sensor with a 3-axis accelerometer, gyroscope and magnetometer delivers responsive, accurate vario readings with real-time sensor fusion, plus multiple independent altimeters (QNH, GPS, AGL, height above takeoff).
- High-Sensitivity GNSS The u-blox M10M receiver supports concurrent reception of multiple GNSS systems — GPS, Galileo, GLONASS and BeiDou — for fast, precise positioning.
- Maps, Airspace and Cross Country Tools Detailed maps with settlements, woods and water surfaces, Open Air airspace with configurable warning distances, a prompt wind algorithm that needs no spiralling, thermal centring assistance and full task navigation.
- Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Built In Both are included through an internal module — no upgrade required — for data synchronisation, firmware updates and live tracking.

Running VarioQt
The OneX runs VarioQt, the same software as the MipFly One — so everything you already know carries over, and both instruments keep improving with the same updates. Pages are fully user definable with configurable graphical elements, the interface is multi-lingual, vario sound is fully configurable (frequency, increments, square or sine wave), and every flight is recorded as a 3D IGC log.
Whether you are flying local, chasing your first 100 km, or running tasks in competition, the MipFly OneX is everything the MipFly One is — sharper, lighter, and with more time in the air.
